Emma Jeans has been around for as long as I can remember. It's a classic in my opinion and the food there is pretty good. Portions are super big and believe me when I say, that if you don't get full, it's your own fault. I would suggest going there with an appetite and don't forget to tip.

WOW, WOW and WOW! I had such a great experience my first visit, that I went back the next day! It is what it is-A GREAT DINER!! The place was clean, organized, friendly service, and EXCELLENT food! My first visit, I had the "Slap your Mama" burger! OMG!! AMAZINGLY AWESOME! Huge AND DELICIOUS, REALLY DELICIOUS! Thick burger patties, not 'chain' store size. And no stinking frill picks to hold it together, large steak knives included for this task! And no complaints about the fries and onion rings either. Had to go back the next day for breakfast, and what a breakfast treat it was! I had the Chicken Fried Steak, served with eggs, potatoes and a hub cap size pancake the same size as the Chicken Fried Steak! I don't know how I did but I finished the WHOLE THING!! Huge portions of delicious food with excellent friendly service served in a "Classic" American diner! THIS WAS A 5 STAR, MIC DROP EXPERIENCE!! Soooooo worth the trip!

Love the food love the service love the ambience great place We also noticed that this placed was used in a movie called "the old man"

The service was quick, and the server was able to give me ideas about items on the menu and was knowledgeable on what the diner serves. The diner experience was warm and inviting. I started with the soup of the day. And that was pretty delicious. I ordered the mashed potatoes and meatloaf. The potatoes were mediocre I have had better meatloaf but otherwise it's a pretty cool location. I would definitely return and try something else on their menu.

Our party of 8 invaded this cozy roadside diner and despite overrunning the restaurant, the friendly staff was quick to set up the corner table to accommodate all of us. The menu ranges from breakfast to dinner items that you can get at any time. The hamburger patties are made fresh, as are the sides and desserts. Today they had macaroni salad which was creamy and delicious. There were small bits of egg, similar to a potato salad, but that didn't diminish the salad's creamy goodness. Brian's Burger is that delicious handmade patty served on Parmesan toasted sourdough with a green chili. The Holland burger is 1/2 lb patty while the burger is just 1/4 lb. My mom ordered the Trucker's sandwich with Roast beef and a side of tots. The sandwich was cut into thirds which made it perfect for her to take the last 1/3 home and order peach cobbler. There weren't enough tater tots for her to take home because all her grandkids kept stealing them when she wasn't looking. They also make fresh shakes, so we took one to go for my uncle who couldn't make it. He was very pleased with the shake. I will definitely be stopping by to get one for him regularly. All in all this was a great spot and I'll say it's a solid 4/5 stars only because I ordered 4 sides of Shawna's Shit Show and even with a large party, a heatwave, and it being close to closing it never came!

Have you tried the historic Emma Jean's Holland Burger in Victorville, CA? The first restaurant in Victorville, the eatery was featured on Guy's Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives for their biscuits and gravy. When we went, they had already sold out for the day of biscuits and gravy, so I can't speak on those. I can say it's the best chicken fried steak I have ever had, and the pancake was amazing! Fantastic service, too. I hadn't been there in 10 years, and it was the same waitress when I went last time (she's one of the owners). It's worth the drive. Hit Route 66 and dive into this delectable dive!!!!

It's no surprise that Emma jeans has the best breakfast/lunch in town. This was my first time eating the steak breakfast. WOW best in the desert too. I love this place and the history behind it.

Nestled in the heart of the high desert, this hidden gem evokes nostalgic memories of childhood adventures and family stomping grounds. During a recent vacation, I returned with one of my own adult families in tow to experience the area once again. The trucker special sandwich stole the show with its robust flavors and generous portions. A succulent grilled beef patty, perfectly cooked and oozing with juices, paired harmoniously with the kick of a green chili, adding an extra layer of tantalizing taste. But it wasn't just the food that left us enamored; it was the personal touch of being able to chat with one of the owners, who regaled us with tales of the restaurant's history. The atmosphere crackled with warmth and nostalgia, and we found ourselves charmed by the playful banter and delightful wordplay. In the embrace of the high desert scenery, surrounded by memories old and new, we savored not just a meal but an experience--a testament to the power of good food, great company, and the timeless allure of the desert landscape.

Amazing living piece of history! Right on historic Route 66, this place is priceless, and so is the food and the owners. We sat at the counter and asked the waitress what she recommends. She said everything was edible LOL! Turns out she was the owner and had a wicked sense of humor. The food was delish and we had a whale of a good time hearing her jokes and stories (see Shawna's shit show on the menu photo). So many quirky things inside, check out the clock too. We will be stopping for lunch every time we come back from Vegas from now on.

One of my favorite Diner, Drive-in and Dives. A very small place that's been around for quite a while, old-school americana, represented inside. It's fun to sit and watch them work the grill and flat top . I think Brian's burger is my favorite burger here, or the everything omelette. Be careful that the salsa is really really hot or I am just too delicate to deal with it. I've been coming here for years. I can't believe I'm finally leaving a review. Service is kind and fairly quick. This place does get busy and pick hours so Plan your visit accordingly.
